| Wrestling is a great individual sport that encourages mental as well as physical agility. Our program is open to participants ages 6 - 14 years of age who have not wrestled in the Beltway League and are not in high school. This program is designed for the beginning to intermediate level wrestler. There are 27 weight classes so no emphasis is placed on weight loss. cheap hotels in MalmoAll coaches are certified, experienced wrestlers. SSA is a member of the Damascus Sports Association Wrestling League and matches are usually held at Damascus High School. Wrestlers in this program will vie to compete in county and regional competitions as well. This program operates from December through March. Practices begin the week following Thanksgiving. Beginning as well as veteran wrestlers are encouraged to attend any off-season clinics, tournaments, and camps. We believe that any additional experience builds on existing skills and prepares the wrestler for each regular season. This past Spring, many of our wrestlers competed in off-season tournaments against competition from around the Mid-Atlantic region.
