| Seneca Sports Association, Inc. is operated by a volunteer Board of Directors. Directors are elected to a two year term. Frank has been a football coach with SSA for several years. During the fall 1999 season he coached the 125# division. Frank was also responsible for the introduction of Nike/NFL Flag Football to SSA and served as the Assistant Football Director for Flagin the spring of 1999. Frank has also served as Vice President. Franks daughter is a cheerleader for SSA. This position is currently vacant.
Rod began his career with SSA in the spring of 1996 as an assistant soccer coach. The following fall he was the head coach of a kindergarten team. Since that time he as coached over 20 SSA teams in the K through 6th grade divisions. He also has coached over two seasons of travel soccer. He has received is E and D license and is planning to complete his C license over the summer of 2002. Since the fall of 1998 Rod and his wife, Lisa, have coordinated the cubs program which has grown from 30 to over 180 players. Rod has one daughter involved in SSA soccer and his other two are currently playing select soccer. Rod joined the Board of Directors in 1997 when he became the treasurer. Tricia became a member of the SSA Board in June, 2000 when former secretary, Anita Healey, stepped aside because of the demands of her childrens activities. Tricia has been involved with SSA for many years as a parent and Team Parent. She has two children enrolled in SSA activities (football & wrestling). Her son, Craig, was the mid-Maryland Wrestling Champion for his weight class. Tricia has volunteered many hours to various SSA projects. She is currently a member of the planning committee for the SSA 20th Anniversary Celebration.
Brussels hotel roomsLynn has served Seneca Sports for 10 years. She started as a soccer coach in 1993, served as soccer director from 1996 to 1998, and as president from 1998 to 2000. She has been the Cheerleading Director since 1999. In addition to serving on the SSA Board, Lynn has also served as a member of the Board of Directors for the Maryland Soccer Foundation. Lynn has a son at Watkins Mill HS and a daughter at Neelsville MS who is involved in the cheerleading and flag football programs. Her husband, Mario, serves as the SSA Wrestling Director.
James comes to SSA from the Briggs Chaney-White Oak football program and brings with him over 15 years of experience in youth football.
Lisa served with her husband, Rod, as interim soccer director until Spring, 1999. Lisa has been very active in SSA serving as an assistant soccer director for several years prior to becoming Soccer Director. Lisa has been very instrumental to the grown and development of the Soccer Cubs program and the SSA girls league. The overall SSA soccer league has grown from 250 players to over 1,800. Lisa has had three daughters involved with SSA socccer and her husband, Rod, serves as SSA treasurer. They currently have one daughter playing SSA soccer.
Mario has served the children of Seneca Sports for 10 years. He became involved with SSA when his son began playing soccer in 1993. He has coached soccer, tackle football, flag football, and wrestling. Prior to becoming the SSA wrestling director, he directed the football program for three years. He has been the wrestling director for four years. Under his guidance, SSA wrestling team won the DSAWL sportsmanship award in 2000, and the DSAWL championship in 2001. His wife, Lynn, is currently the director for the cheerleading program.
These positions are designed to assist the Board with committee formation, information research, administrative duties, and volunteer coordination. The following people have been elected to the Board as Members-at-Large:
Larry has been invloved with Seneca Sports for several years as a coach and a parent. His sons have participated in both football and wrestling.
Phyllis's time and dedication to SSA is greatly appreciated.
Diana is a former professional football cheerleader of ten years, cheering for the Toronto Argos in the Canadian Football League for five years. She served as Head Captain and Show Troupe Leader in addition to cheering for the Washington Redskins for five years, where she also served a staff member for the Redskinettes. She has directed, managed, and operated three Semi-Professional Football cheer/dance teams in Washington, DC and Maryland. She has performed in many cities in the US, Canada, and England. Including Los Angeles at the Bacardi Salsa Congress, in Canada at the International Salsa Convention, at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC. and in England at the American Bowl. Her dance background includes jazz, modern, tap, hip hop and Latin dances. Diana also serves as a judge for several cheer and dance competitions, from local to national, along the East Coast. In her spare time she is the Competition Cheer Commissioner and Board Member for Seneca Sports Association in Germantown, Maryland.

Tracy has coached soccer for Seneca Sports for several years and involved in the Soccer Cubs program. Tracy assists Lisa and Rod with the soccer program and has had the privilege of coaching three all-star teams. His son has played soccer with SSA for several years.
